This Twelfth Edition of The Times Comprehensive Atlas of the World is the latest edition of a title which has steadily evolved since The Times first published a world atlas in 1895. This Twelfth Edition of the atlas contained 118 pages of maps, of which half referred to Europe; besides this latest edition brings all the mapping fully up to date, includes a new map of Alaska and northwest Canada and provides significant enhancements to important areas. The introductory section contains unique continental satellite images which provide a view of each continent as seen from space.
